We were blown away by the response to our inaugural Top Songwriters Showcase on July 5, 2024! The Lava Room was packed and we had such an appreciative audience of locals and visitors. 

We had three sets of three singer-songwriters, with Grammy-winner Gary Nichols plus very talented Florence-based locals Angela Hacker and Lucie Tiger sharing the headline slot. Another local, Rivers Grayson, was joined by Memphis-based Skyler King and Nashville-based Troy Castellano. The night opened with the legendary Mark Narmore plus talented locals Hannah Clarke and Katlyn Barnes. Each singer-songwriter brought their own unique approach to songwriting and every artist stirred the audience with their storytelling skills. We organized the event under our banner Muscle Shoals Music Now, established by 2120 Music.

The Top Songwriters Showcase poster was designed by Payton Pruitt, who is also a local songwriter and lead guitarist for Carver Commodore.
