Tequila Talking + Chart Update

Released on February 14, Lucie Tiger's Tequila Talking racked up 6.2k views in its first month! Achievements to date include:

  • #1 – Top 10 Australian Country Songwriters Show, April 1 & 8, 2025 (7 weeks on the chart)
  • #3 – AMRAP Metro Chart (Australia), February 24, 2025 (6 weeks on the chart)
  • #24 – CDX Traction True Indie Chart – April 30, 2025

According to Fletcher Brown, Program Director, WXFL - Florence-Muscle Shoals KIX 96 Country, the Tequila Talking is "Foot stomping, high energy Country banger! Another great addition to the honky-tonk song tradition!"

Step into the smoky haze of a neon-lit dive bar and Lucie Tiger’s new single, Tequila Talking  is a spirited ode to the magic of music, mischief, and late-night revelry. With its infectious groove and sultry Southern swagger, this country-rock anthem delivers the perfect soundtrack for a night out. It’s more than a song; it’s a celebration of bold choices, unforgettable nights, and the irresistible pull of the wild side.

This artist is getting some real traction. Lucie Tiger has had seven consecutive self-penned singles on the Music Row chart and she’s regularly in the top 10 Indies on the chart. Her last single Everybody Knows Your Name hit #53 and was listed in the Top 25 Critiques of 2024 by Music Connection Magazine.

With Tequila Talking, Lucie Tiger invites listeners to step into her world—a place where the music is as bold as the stories she tells and every note carries the essence of her fiery, devil may care spirit. Equal parts playful and powerful, this song is destined to be the anthem of countless nights out.

In true Muscle Shoals tradition, Tequila Talking was laid down live in the studio, capturing the energy of a live band performance —a nod to the golden age of music-making in the 1960s and ’70s. The lineup features Lucie Tiger, vocals and acoustic guitar; Bob Wray (The Highwaymen), bass; Will McFarlane (Bonnie Raitt), lead guitar; Brad Kuhn, keys and Evan Lane, drums. Produced by Lucie Tiger, mixed by Colin Lott and mastered by Chris Bethea.
