In summer 2025, we rolled out a series of Sunset Sessions in Mobile Street Plaza based on similar Sunset Sessions we hosted in Sydney. After developing the proposal for Sunset Sessions for Florence, we liaised with Downtown Florence Alliance (DFA) and three local businesses, Lost Pizza, The Carriage and Wildwood Tavern to define the goal of attracting more people to Florence downtown, set the schedule, define the parameters of the sessions and arrange sponsorship. 

Thank you to our sponsors! We are grateful to have such generous sponsors and we were able to use the sponsorship funds to pay the artists as well as help set up and promote each session.

We believe that Sunset Sessions achieved it's goals and helped to bring more people to downtown Florence and enliven the Mobile Street Plaza area. A recent article noted, “Sunset Sessions Bring Live Music To Downtown Florence” and we were lucky to have five fine weather Fridays, with each session drawing larger audiences. DFA arranged Adirondack chairs and many people also brought their own chairs. Lucie Tiger hosted each Sunset Session and the lineup for each session was as follows:

We enjoyed hosting Sunset Sessions in 2025 and plan to roll out another schedule of Sunset Sessions in 2026.
