After a brief break while we were in the States, our Songwriter Sessions are back! The lineup on Thursday 19 May featured Aimès, Lora Keet and Lucie Tiger. Aimés beautifully captures moments in her life's journey in her songs, which blend soul, groove and pop, accompanied by the talented Dougie. Lora Keet combines influences of neo-soul, RnB, and folk music with powerful, soulful vocals, exploring the expression of emotion through music. And, last but not least, Lucie Tiger's Southern rock was delivered with a dose of Americana charm and a dash of blues. 

As always, the audience were generous with their donations and special thanks are due to Sappho’s for hosting the night - they’re so supportive of live music and local artists.
