Our first 2120 Music Songwriter Session for 2023 was fantastic! We had four talented singer-songwriters, all of whom have a unique, authentic style.

The Violet Bard's songs have an otherworldly, poetic flavour that surprises and enchants, and she kept the audience enthralled with each of her songs. Listening to Hunter Auzins is like being transported to another world that is dark and brooding but simultaneously captivating and compelling. His melodies and lyrics invite the audience to lean in and pay attention. Mischa Vickas has a presence that commands attention and his voice and guitar skills are applied expertly to elevate each of the songs in his repertoire. The line-up also featured Lucie Tiger - who kindly opened the show and entertained us with her authentic, original songs that speak of her journeys through America, her experiences and the people that she has met along the way. 

We are forever thankful for Sappho's Bar for supporting live music and the generous and appreciative audience! Our next Songwriter Session is on Thursday 9th February.
