Despite the heavy rain, it was a crowded night for our Songwriters Session at Sappho's. The cool thing about these sessions is that each songwriter's set is always unique and sets them apart from other songwriters. Lucie Tiger kicked off the night followed by Andy Penkow, and then Blake Cateris. Andy's sad love songs are brought to life with his chocolate-smooth yet powerful voice. Blake's lyrics drew you in and make you think about some of the key issues facing us today. Lucie's songs are always upbeat country rock with a Blues sting in the tail. 

As always, the audience were generous with their $$ contributions and we are forever grateful to venues like Sappho's that provide opportunities for live music. Songwriters Session, Sappho's on Thursday December 9, 2021 and our next session is Thursday January 13, 2022.
