We had another great 2120 Music Songwriters Session on 17th May! It was chilly night, but we had a hot lineup featuring Angus Gilmore, The Violet Bard, Lucie Tiger and SYDA. We always enjoy having Angus Gilmore, the Violet Bard and Lucie Tiger in our Songwriter Sessions and we were blown away by our youngest ever songwriter, SYDA - her well-crafted, highly authentic and deeply honest lyrics are masterful and show a talent well beyond her years.

Sappho Bar has changed ownership, and the new owners have decided to focus more on poetry and literature events, so our May 2120 Music Songwriter Session was our last session in Australia. Lucie Tiger is moving to America and we're following as soon as we can. 

Stay tuned as we'll soon be settled in America and running Songwriter Sessions in a town with a legendary history in the music industry and a vibrant live music scene - Muscle Shoals. The Shoals is an easy drive from Nashville and it's a place where live music is celebrated, valued, and very much a part of the community. Plus, it's surprising how many recording studios and live music venues are packed into one town!
