The talent at the Lava Room for our September Songbirds Session was awesome. Each artist lit up the room with their unique, authentic storytelling, melodies and songwriting style. The line-up for the night featured six talented songwriters plus Matt DeOrazio.

• Jessey Adams - This multi-award winning singer/songwriter and Michigan native describes herself as a drifter with a guitar and she certainly has traveled far and wide. Her tag line is ‘traveling to sing and singing to travel’, and we are in awe of the journey she has chosen at this point in her life.
• Elliott DeVaughn - A singer/songwriter from North-East Mississippi, Elliott has been honing her craft under the wing of Jimbo Mathus and has definitely developed a sound of her own. We can hear The Velvet Underground, The Strokes as well as Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Fiona Apple in her songwriting.
• Alexis Jackson - An engineer by day, Alexis is a guitar pickin'/piano playin' singer/songwriter with compelling songs that catch the ear for their lyrics, melodies and rhythms. Her debut single ‘Ain’t Me No More' is due out on 10th October 2025 and will definitely be worth downloading and listening to on repeat!
• Savannah Maybrey - A singer/songwriter from Arkansas, Savannah Maybrey creates soulful melodies with heartfelt lyrics that have the capacity to connect on a deep level. We loved listening to her songs and we were definitely not alone judging by the audience response to Savannah on the night.  
• Lucie Tiger - A singer/songwriter who is loath to write sad songs, Lucie Tiger played some of her upbeat songs at Songbird Sessions including her latest release, Harvest Moon. Lucie also acted as host for the event and we are forever grateful to her for stepping into this role.
• Lottie Richards - A local, young singer/songwriter, Lottie creates sweet, wholesome melodies that speak of her Christian life and devotion. Lottie has released several songs and you can find these on all streaming platforms including Spotify.
• Matt DeOrazio - we are so grateful that Matt agrees to add some of his fabulous guitar licks to the songs played by the singer/songwriters in our Songbirds Session lineup. Matt always hits the right note and his licks subtly add a rich layer to the acoustic songs at each session.
