Our September 2024 Songbird Songwriter Session in the Shoals was a fantastic night! The session featured Matthew and Melissa DeOrazio, Katlyn Barnes accompanied by Colin Lott, CONNR (Megan Connor) and Lucie Tiger. Such an awesome range of talent was in the room!
Thanks to their excellent songwriting, we laughed, we shed a tear, we felt lovelorn, we got angry, we felt all the feels! Talented songwriters have a way of connecting with their lyrics and melodies, and it was especially powerful at this session. When Katlyn Barnes turned up her rap song ‘Money’, everyone on stage got into the groove! We've been presenting Songwriter Sessions in Sydney for some years and we're excited that our Songbird Sessions have hit a high note in the Shoals under our banner, Muscle Shoals Music Now. We're especially thankful for venues like the Lava Room that are amazing in their support of live music!
