We’re thrilled to present Lucie Tiger's first Songbird Session in the Shoals! The lineup for this session featured Taylor Grace (guitar), Hannah Clarke (keys and guitar), Lindy Urban (guitar) plus Lucie Tiger (guitar) who also acts as host for the evening.

Hosting songwriter sessions is Lucie Tiger’s way of giving back. She is always keen to help enrich her local music community, give a hand up to emerging songwriters, and also champion female songwriters. According to Lucie, “Women often have to work twice as hard as men to get ahead in the music industry and I try to give songwriters, especially women and emerging songwriters, a hand up.”

Lucie hosted her first songwriter night in February 2020 at Moshpit, a live music venue in Sydney’s Newtown. Within weeks, the Covid pandemic impacted the world and Lucie had the temerity to pivot quickly and arrange to have the songwriter sessions live-streamed, while keeping within strict Covid guidelines. By the time Lucie Tiger landed in Muscle Shoals, she'd hosted 58 songwriter and band shows in Sydney. 

We'll be presenting Songbird Sessions on a regular basis at the Lava Room in Florence - one of the four towns that make up the Shoals.
