We’re excited that the 6th edition of our ‘Muscle Shoals Music Now’ column has just been published in Rhythms Magazine, Jan/Feb 2025 issue! This article shines a light on some of the fantastic live music events that we get to enjoy in the Shoals on the reg. We had the privilege of attending the wonderful Hog Creek Cotillion where we were transported to another time and place by the extraordinary music of the Pine Hill Haints. Seeing them play their ‘Alabama Ghost Music’ in a large barn in the middle of a storm out in the county brought this description of their music to life.

The article also highlights the Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival and the amazing array of local and visiting songwriters that performed at the festival this year. We’re keen to draw more songwriters from further afield including Australia and can now arrange side gigs for them while they’re in the Shoals.

We also talked about the Songbirds Songwriter Sessions that Muscle Shoals Music Now hosts on a regular basis and we're super excited for our plans for 2025!
