Lucie Tiger’s album The Memphis Tapes was released in Australia on September 23, 2022, and peaked at #7 on the Top 20 Australian Independent Record Labels (AIR) Albums Chart on October 3, 2022 - see AIR Chart link.
The album features 10 of the independent artist's original songs inspired by Lucie Tiger's road trips across America. With this self-funded project, Lucie explored a new way to record her songs. The audio engineer Daniel Crockett suggested a unique slapback/echo tape machine sound that shone a light on Lucie's lyrics, voice and which also revealed her guitar skills. Album tracking listing:

An authentic and respected songwriter and performer, this has year has been great for Lucie Tiger. Really dug the Memphis Tapes....the stripped down, acoustic arrangements on the songs really let Lucie's voice be the spotlight on them which makes an artist/singer pretty vulnerable as the whole vibe and drive of the album really rests on their shoulders but she knocked it out of the park.
