New Release + Chart Update

Released on February 2, 2024, Lucie Tiger’s Hummingbird was the first of Lucie's releases to be included on Spotify's New Music Friday Country playlist. Hummingbird debuted on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart at #79 on Friday May 31 (link) the same week that the music video for Hummingbird was selected for broadcast on CMT (Australia) TV network. Hummingbird climbed to #63 on June 7 (link).

On release day, Lucie was interviewed on the television program Tennessee Valley Living WAFF, Hunstville, where she played the song live and chatted with the host Payton Walker. Here's a link to the performance: https://www.tvliving.com/2024/02/02/lucie-tiger-performs-hummingbird/

With Hummingbird, Lucie Tiger is hitting the ground running with her first single for 2024. The song is an autobiographical snapshot of who Lucie is as a person and an artist. It’s classic Lucie Tiger southern rock, so it’s best heard from your car stereo and turned up loud.

This is Lucie's sixth single that has made it onto the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart!

The only independent Australian artist to have achieved this record over the last 3 years, Lucie Tiger has shared chart rankings with the likes of Keith Urban, Morgan Evans, Amy Sheppard, and Andrew Farris.

This is an outstanding achievement for Lucie, an independent artist now working in Muscle Shoals, whose previous five singles have all charted on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart.

Like many of the songs from the legendary recording town of Muscle Shoals, Lucie's music is recorded organically, with all musicians playing together in the studio, creating an authentic and vibrant sound. Hummingbird was written by Lucie Tiger, and features Lucie on acoustic guitar and vocals, Bob Wray (bass), Brad Kuhn (keys), Will McFarlane (electric guitar), and Justin Holder (percussion). The track was recorded in Muscle Shoals and produced by John Gifford III.
