
Lucie Tiger O'Connor was a Finalist in the 2013 Australian Independent Music Awards. Of the nine solo-written songs entered, she received seven Finalist Nominations for the MusicOz Awards held on November 7, 2013. The official MusicOz notification for Lucie Tiger categorized the seven songs across six categories as per this link. The songs featured in the repertoire of Tiger & The Rogues, and as the main songwriter in the band, the official notification from MusicOz also included an invitation for Lucie Tiger to attend the awards event in Sydney.

The Still Bandits
Before graduating from college, Lucie Tiger played rhythm guitar in The Still Bandits from 2009 to 2010 and she was also the primary songwriter and vocalist in the band. The Still Bandits were in the finals of several band competitions while in college and reached the semi-finals of the Emergenza worldwide band competition at the Factory Theatre on October 14, 2010 - see link.
The band played multiple venues in Sydney including a headline show at the Enmore Theatre, plus shows at the Sandringham Hotel, the Annandale Hotel and the Lansdowne until it broke up in late 2010 when all the band members except Kat Dimitriadis graduated with their degrees from JMC Academy.
Of the ten songs registered with Australia’s PRO organization APRA AMCOS for The Still Bandits, Lucie Tiger O’Connor is the only band member registered as songwriter for all ten songs including two songs as solo songwriter (You’re Alright, Come On Down) and two co-written songs with Jennifer Bradley (Jealousy, Drifting In The Sixties). All band members are listed as co-writers on the remaining six songs: Lucienne Tiger O’Connor, Tom Gray, Josh Kellerman, Kathryn Dimitriadis, Max Hunjak-Smith. Immediately after completing her college studies and before graduating with a degree in music on 15 February 2011, Lucie was asked to appear on the television program Songwriters Across Australia, which was broadcast on broadcast on Friday 12 November and repeated on Sunday 14 November.
