Lucie Tiger won Country Vocalist of the Year Award at the 11th Annual Josie Music Awards, Grand Ole Opry, Nashville on November 2, 2025, and she was also nominated for Artist of the Year (Modern Country). Stepping into the legendary circle at the Opry to accept her award, Lucie thanked the Josie Music Awards organization for supporting independent artists, country radio, and her team at 2120 Music.
The Josie Music Awards were founded in 2015 and have been held annually since 2015. It is an award organization that honors independent music across all genres, artists, musicians, and songwriters. A panel of judges for the Josie Awards is made up of musicians and music industry professionals.

Lucie Tiger has chalked up seven self-penned singles on the Music Row Country Breakout chart—an unprecedented feat for an independent Australian female artist—including the singles, Found My Home (#50) in 2021 and Everybody Knows Your Name (#53) in early 2025. Originally from Australia, Lucie Tiger has recorded her her singles in Muscle Shoals.
Living up to Music Connection Magazine’s “20 Top Prospects who are too good to be overlooked”, Lucie Tiger is having a bumper year. She was the only Country Music artist to receive an Australian APRA AMCOS ‘Women In Music’ award. Plus, Lucie and her band have featured in the lineups for Whiskey Jam in Nashville, opened for Tyler Farr, and co-headlined the W.C. Handy Music Festival. Lucie also played the Top Songwriters Showcase at the Handy Music Festival and has been nominated as a Songwriter-On-The-Rise at the Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival three years in a row. Since moving to the United States in late 2023, Lucie has been working out of Muscle Shoals and she’s recorded at both FAME Studios and East Avalon Recorders in the Shoals, where she’s shared stages with Grammy winners Jimbo Hart and Gary Nichols.
The 2025 Josie Music Awards will be televised in partnership with the American Country Network.
