With her signature blend of Southern country rock and masterful storytelling, Lucie Tiger has achieved nine singles on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart. In 2025, Lucie Tiger won Country Vocalist of the Year at the 11th Annual Josie Music Awards, Grand Ole Opry, Nashville.

Working in the US since 2023, Lucie Tiger has recently shifted her focus from Muscle Shoals to Nashville, where she has been making her mark in country music. 

In 2025, Lucie Tiger's single ‘Harvest Moon’ garnered her first review—a good one!—from Robert K. Oermann, legendary author and music critic.  In the same year, Lucie Tiger was the only country music artist to receive an Australian APRA AMCOS ‘Women In Music’ award. 

A prolific songwriter, Lucie Tiger won Country Blues Song of the year for ‘Gasoline’ at the 2021 Tamworth Country Songwriters Awards and she has garnered numerous top 5 songwriting accolades. All bar one of Lucie Tiger's singles that have charted were self-penned and among her most notable are ‘Found My Home’ (#50, 2021) and Everybody Knows Your Name (#53, 2025). Lucie Tiger has played countless songwriters rounds in Muscle Shoals, Nashville, and further afield, plus she’s played at the Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival (three years running). 

Lucie Tiger + Band

With a “potent blend of country heart and rock-and-roll fire”, Lucie Tiger and her band have recently played Nashville’s  3rd & Lindsley as well as the iconic Whiskey Jam, opening for Tyler Farr. Lucie Tiger + band played the W.C. Handy Music Festival twice, supporting the North Mississippi Allstars (2025) and Rollin' In The Hay (2024). She has shared stages with Grammy-winning artists like Gary Nichols and Jimbo Hart, plus fellow Australian artists Sinead Burgess, Imogen Clark, Melanie Dyer, and Blake O'Connor.  

Listed as an artist to watch in the Top 25 New Music Critiques in Music Connection Magazine (2024), Lucie Tiger's music has been described as “crowd-pleasing blend of classic 1970s Southern rock (drawing influence from bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers) and contemporary country grit, flavored with Crossroads blues” (Country Music News International). Lucie has been featured in a stack of articles in CountryTown, Music Connection Magazine, Americana Rhythm Magazine, Rhythms (AUS) and Country Music News International, plus multiple television appearances in the United States and Australia.

Songbird Sessions and Songwriter Series

Lucie is the creative force behind the Songbird Sessions and Top Songwriter Series. Reflecting her belief that ‘a rising tide lifts all boats’, Lucie has been hosting songwriter rounds and takeovers in Muscle Shoals and Nashville on a regular basis since 2020 in Sydney at Moshpit, Newtown. 

Hosting songwriter sessions has been Lucie’s way of giving back and she is always keen to help enrich the local music community and champion female songwriters. 

In an article by Christian Lamitschka for Country Music New International, it was noted that, Lucie is always keen to give a hand up to younger and emerging songwriters, and especially women as this cohort has to work twice as hard as their male counterparts to get ahead in the music industry. What started in 2020 at Sydney's Moshpit has now become an ongoing series of 70+ events with 100+ artists booked.

From Muscle Shoals to Music Row

With her chart recognition on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart in Nashville and after two years recording and co-writing in Muscle Shoals, Lucie Tiger is relocating to Nashville in mid 2026. 

Lucie Tiger recorded nearly 50 tracks in Muscle Shoals including 10 tracks at FAME Studios. In addition to her recording sessions in Muscle Shoals, Lucie Tiger also recorded an acoustic album ‘The Memphis Tapes’ at Sun Studio, Memphis, and an acclaimed piano version of Jimi Hendrix's ‘The Wind Cries Mary’ at Oceanway Studio in Nashville. The majority of tracks featured on the albums ‘Alabama Highway’ (2022) ‘Greetings From Muscle Shoals' (2024), and forthcoming albums ’Small Town Scandal' (2026) are written by Lucie Tiger. 

Music producer Charles Holloman (Sunset Sound LA, East Avalon Recorders, board member of the Muscle Shoals Music Association) has recognized Lucie Tiger as an exceptional rhythm guitarist. Lucie’s 2025 release, Harvest Moon, highlights her capacity as both a songwriter and rhythm guitarist. The rhythmic patterns in the song deliver aural hooks that engage and captivate, and underpin the evocative lyrics. Lucie's back catalog of recordings from Cicero Blues (2018) onwards reveal that she has consistently combined rhythm guitar and well-crafted lyrics to release songs that capture attention and earn praise as well as chart rankings. 

Success in Australia

While in Sydney, Lucie Tiger notched up five self-penned singles on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart - Found My Home (#50), Midnight Goodbye (#68), Right Next To You, Burn It Down, and Home Is Where The Heart Is.  

Lucie Tiger has had three top 20 singles and multiple top 40 songs including Cowboy Love Me (#19), Do Me Right (#12), Found My Home (#20), Midnight Goodbye (#34) and Right Next To You (#48).

Lucie Tiger's 2022 album Alabama Highway debuted at #14 on the Australian ARIA Country Albums chart (equivalent to the Billboard Country Albums chart) and #10 on the AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels) Albums Chart (April 2022). Lucie's acoustic album The Memphis Tapes reached #7 on the AIR Australian Independent Record Labels Chart (October 2022).

Background Bio

Lucie Tiger played piano from the age of six and, after performing at the Sydney Opera House, she swapped piano for guitar in her teens. For her final high school music studies assessment, Lucie and her guitar tutor Sascha Klave performed The Rolling Stones’ Can’t You Hear Me Knocking. Lucie was the only student in class to do her own music arrangement for her performance pieces. 

A creative writer since childhood, songwriting came naturally to Lucie Tiger and all of her singles up to ‘Harvest Moon’ in 2025 are self-penned. In 2021, Lucie Tiger won Country Blues Song of the Year for her composition ‘Gasoline’, one of many accolades for songwriting. 

After graduating with a degree in music from JMC Academy, Sydney, Lucie completed post-graduate studies in music business management (JMC Academy) and post-graduate studies in literature (University of Sydney).

While at JMC Academy, Lucie began to focus on songwriting. Inspired by Keith Richards, Lucie’s songs are built on strong rhythmic patterns and she varies volume and intensity within these rhythmic patterns to enhance the harmonic structure of her songs and her well-crafted lyrics. 

While at university, Lucie Tiger played in several bands including The Dials, The Redials, and The Still Bandits, where she was the main songwriter and rhythm guitarist. After graduating university, Lucie led her own band Tiger & The Rogues, in which she was the main songwriter, vocalist and rhythm guitarist. At the time, she was featured on the television program Songwriters Across Australia. Tiger & The Rogues garnered several MusicOz nominations and played all of Sydney’s premier venues including the Enmore Theatre, The Factory, The Metro/Lair, the Annandale, and the Sandringham and Lansdowne Hotels.
