It's a great studio and Lucie is always able to record a bunch of tracks becasue she arrives prepared and knows exactly what she wants to record. Recording at Sun Studio occurs at night and Lucie's post-recording custom is to go to the Peabody Hotel and enjoy a couple of Mint Juleps and cake.
Sun Studio was founded by Sam Phillips and it is the studio where Elvis Presley recorded his first hits as well as Johnny Cash, Howlin' Wolf, BB King and Carl Perkins.
